Hi everyone. 
My name is Alexandra but you can call me Alex. I’m 29 years old and live on the South East coast of England. I’m a Textile and Surface pattern graduate from Bucks or Buckinghamshire University.
While I was making crochet flowers to embellish a design I’d been working on I thought about adding some ribbon and beads to them and make them into brooches. It was then I brought my first jewellery making and I’ve never looked back.
I’ve been making jewellery for two years now and can’t get enough.
Right now my current obsession is butterflies but I also love working with geometric patterns. I love trying out new techniques, right now I’m focused on my bead weaving. It’s time-consuming and you do have to a lot of patience but the end result is well worth it.
I also love to draw and I’m a big fan of anime, manga and video games. I've just discovered the Bamboo Blade anime. It's great I can't believe I've never seen it before.
I don't play video games as much as I used to (I can never find the time) but I just got Resident Evil 6 and it's great. Any game with a great story and i'm hooked.

At last I'm leaving my job of seven years so I'll have more time to focus on my art work and jewellery making. This last year and a half has been hard, I've worked as hard as I can but I've been feeling that it's not good enough and I can't seem to win. So now it's time to move on and be my happy, optimistic self ones again and be in a job I love and care about and not feel I'm walking on egg shells every time I walk in to work. I've always been a hard worker and enjoyed work but my health is more important. I've been very unhappy these last few years so I think leaving my job will be good for me so I can focus on what makes me happy. I hope

Hi Everyone :)
Sorry again for not being very active on DA. My job has been a nightmare, this week I've been doing 7 to 8 hour shifts with no tea or lunch break and have come home exhausted. These last few weeks I've been trying to update my website, Facebook etc so I hope to submit more of my jewellery and Fanart soon.
